South West College has published a new InnoTech Industry Brochure that consolidates its training, funding and innovation support services for employers across Tyrone and Fermanagh into a single guide. The brochure gives businesses one access point to specialist equipment, government-backed funding and collaborative projects that many companies could not otherwise afford on their own.

The brochure, outlined by South West College, is delivered through the College's Business and Industry Support Department and covers advanced manufacturing, digital transformation, engineering innovation and sustainable construction, alongside funded training routes accessed through the Department for the Economy.

South West College, headquartered across four regional campuses in Cookstown, Dungannon, Enniskillen and Omagh, is a publicly funded further education college serving around 20,000 enrolments with an annual turnover of £50 million. Its InnoTech provision already spans engineering, manufacturing, construction, digital media and renewable energy projects, and the college recently secured €9.8 million in PEACEPLUS funding for its separate Green Accelerator Skills Programme.

The structural driver behind the brochure is the cost and capacity barrier facing smaller regional employers, who often cannot justify buying specialist equipment or hiring in-house innovation expertise and instead rely on shared access through further education partners.

Nicola Quinn, head of business and industry support at South West College, said the brochure "reflects our commitment to supporting businesses across the region to grow, innovate and compete" and makes it "easier for employers to engage with the College and access the support they need to succeed."

The brochure sits alongside SWC's wider industry engagement, including the SkillBuild NI regional competition delivered with the Construction Industry Training Board NI, positioning the college as a recurring delivery partner rather than a one-off training provider.

For the sector, the InnoTech brochure confirms that further education colleges are packaging training, funding and equipment access into single, employer-facing offers rather than leaving businesses to navigate separate schemes individually.
