A new postgraduate collaboration between SAS, a global data and artificial intelligence company headquartered in the United States, and Jaypee Business School in India underscores the growing role of private-sector partnerships in shaping education for an AI-driven economy.

The partnership has led to the launch of MBA in AI and Data Science, aimed at developing industry-ready graduates equipped to support India’s rapidly expanding digital and analytics ecosystem. The programme is designed to address the widening gap between demand for AI-capable professionals and the availability of skilled talent across business and technology sectors.

By combining SAS’s analytics platforms with Jaypee Business School’s academic framework, the programme blends management education with applied data science. Students will gain hands-on access to SAS software through structured laboratory sessions, real-world capstone projects and internships.

The collaboration extends beyond teaching, with joint research initiatives planned in artificial intelligence and machine learning. These initiatives are intended to strengthen links between academic research and enterprise use cases, while exposing students to practical business challenges through workshops and guest lectures led by SAS professionals.

Professor Anubha Vashisht, director of Jaypee Business School, said: “This collaboration enables the integration of globally recognized SAS tools and platforms into the curriculum, ensuring strong practical exposure. Students benefit from hands-on learning, real-world business case applications, and access to SAS certifications including global certifications.”

Bhuvan Nijhawan, senior director – Education, SAS Asia Pacific, added: “Organizations today need professionals who can move seamlessly from data to decisions and apply agentic thinking in real-word business contexts. By integrating SAS analytics and AI into this MBA program, our collaboration with Jaypee Business School will help students innovate with confidence and contribute meaningfully, right from day one.”
