South Korean professional services firm Samil PwC has launched the Samil AI Finance Academy, a practical training programme designed to build AI-driven transformation and work automation capabilities among finance professionals, as reported by The Asia Business Daily.
The three-day programme runs from 8 to 10 June 2026 and is delivered by specialists from Samil PwC's dedicated AI transformation unit, AX Node, including AX Node Leader Seunghwan Lee and partners Changhoon Lee and Sujeong Jeong.
The curriculum combines lectures and hands-on exercises across topics including generative AI applications in financial work, financial data preparation for AI, AI-based workflow automation, business and competitor research automation using Research Agent, contract analysis with Samil Agent, internal control assessments through K-SOX AI Agent, AX use case identification for finance departments, and in-house AX roadmap development.
The programme is structured for finance professionals either considering AI adoption or preparing for practical implementation, with content designed for direct application in workplace settings.
Kang Mira, CEO of Samil PwC Academy, said the finance sector presents a distinctive set of requirements that AI is increasingly equipped to meet. "The finance department is an area that requires accuracy, audit traceability, and security simultaneously," she said. "AI is becoming an essential tool that fulfills these requirements and fundamentally transforms work processes. We have prepared this course to help finance organizations realistically apply AI and systematically strengthen their AX execution capabilities."
The programme is fee-based, with applications available through the Samil PwC Academy website.
