The latest round of the ACORNS programme is open to early-stage female founders in rural Ireland, offering free, tailored mentoring to help turn business ideas into viable ventures. Backed by the Department of Agriculture, the initiative has already helped over 550 women build sustainable companies—boosting turnover, employment, and exports. Applications close on 22 September, and the programme is gaining EU recognition for its role in fostering rural entrepreneurship.
