Vanuatu-based events company Orion Entertainment has engaged all ten of its owners in a Leadership and Business Strategy Workshop delivered by Pacific Training Solutions, as reported by the Daily Post, targeting improvements in leadership capability, financial management and operational planning as the company continues to expand its activities.

The workshop covers leadership, business planning, team management, marketing, financial control and customer service, with participants learning to develop business plans, improve operations and set clear goals for future growth.

Orion Entertainment Administration Officer Witnol Benko said the training reflects the company's growing need for structured management capability. "Orion Entertainment has grown over the years, and this training is important to help us manage our organisation properly," he said. "We want to strengthen our leadership, improve teamwork, and ensure we continue delivering quality events for the people of Vanuatu."

Benko said the workshop will help owners better understand their individual roles and responsibilities, improve planning and financial oversight, and build a stronger foundation for future events and business opportunities.

The company has delivered a range of events across Vanuatu, including the Fruit Festival, DJ Festival, the first-anniversary memorial of the December 14 earthquake, Tuna Day celebrations and the Mini DJ Fest.

Trainers Kathia and Tahnia Cook encouraged participants to think strategically, strengthen communication and work collaboratively to develop the company's long-term direction.

The decision to bring together all ten owners for the workshop reflects a commitment to collective investment in leadership and organisational sustainability, with the training expected to equip Orion Entertainment with the skills needed to manage growth and continue contributing to Vanuatu's entertainment and events sector.
