A major investment by Mayo College of Further Education and Training is set to transform Swinford into a regional hub for skills and innovation with the launch of a new state-of-the-art New Generation Apprenticeship Centre. 

Offering high-demand programmes in sales, digital marketing, and accounting technician, the centre blends paid work experience with accredited qualifications. Additional full-time courses in IT, business, and office skills further broaden access — supported by grants and international placements. With facilities including a digital marketing studio and podcasting suite, the initiative is a strong signal of Mayo’s future-focused workforce strategy.
