KinderCare Learning Companies, a leading provider of early childhood and school-age education in the United States, has confirmed the return of Tom Wyatt as Chief Executive Officer, effective December 2, 2025.

Wyatt previously served as CEO for over a decade and remains Chairman of the Board. He succeeds Paul Thompson, who will continue with the company until December 31, 2025, to ensure a smooth transition.

During his previous tenure as CEO from 2012 to 2024, Wyatt led KinderCare to significant occupancy, top-line growth, and operational excellence, expanding the company’s portfolio to include Rainbow Childcare’s 150 centres in 16 states and The Crème de la Crème School, a premium early learning provider.
