Launched by Minister James Lawless, the programme offers competitive support for mid-career and senior researchers to relocate and build teams in Irish institutions. 

With the US cutting research budgets and the EU ramping up its own incentives, Ireland is positioning itself as a stable, well-funded hub for scientific excellence. Backed by Research Ireland, the initiative targets strategic disciplines and aims to enhance Ireland’s global research influence.
