Entrepreneurial education initiative reaches 7,500 students with AIB support

Junior Achievement Ireland and AIB have extended their successful ‘It’s My Business’ programme for another three years, aiming to reach 12,000 primary pupils by 2028. Already impacting over 7,500 4th class students nationwide, the initiative nurtures entrepreneurial thinking and practical business skills through hands-on learning and sustainability-focused innovation.

With 500 business volunteers, including 114 from AIB, students have pitched ideas ranging from allergen-detecting apps to upcycled instruments—shaping Ireland’s next generation of responsible innovators.
