Chile is preparing to host a major UNESCO summit focused on strengthening and expanding the global teaching workforce, set to take place in Santiago from 28 to 29 August.
Organised by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, the event will call for sustained support for teachers and seek to elevate the teaching profession amid growing economic and sociopolitical challenges, as reported by El Maipo, a partner of TV BRICS.
