Once you have created your PDF submission and you have all items in the Items Checklist, submit your entry via the Online Entry Form. CLICK HERE.

This award will go to the organisation or education provider in Ireland that has been offering a best-in-class apprenticeship programme over the past 12 months. Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for clear information backed up by facts, with particular attention to the criteria listed below:

  • Demonstrate Apprenticeship Programme: Demonstrate how the apprenticeship programme was developed and outline its objectives. Clearly articulate how the submitted programme differentiates itself from similar apprenticeship programmes offered by other service providers
  • Overview: Provide an overview of how the programme has been implemented over the past 12 months, giving specific examples. Also, outline any challenges faced in the implementation process and how your team demonstrated initiative, innovation,creativity, and leadership to overcome them.
  • Demonstrate Organisational Benefits: Demonstrate the real benefits of the programme to your organisation or institution, providing positive feedback (i.e., from internal or external stakeholders) where appropriate. Identify the role of the stakeholders (if any) in the development, delivery or evaluation of the programmes.
  • Demonstrate Learner Benefits: Demonstrate how the programme benefits the apprentice, providing positive feedback (via internal surveys or testimonials) where appropriate. Demonstrate how this feedback has been used to enhance the content or delivery of the programme.
  • Evidence: Provide evidence of how you monitor and measure the success of the programme against the stated objectives.
  • Excellence in Training & Development: Provide examples where your organisation has gone beyond curricular requirements to facilitate apprentices, including details such as mentorship initiatives, additional learning supports, or hours per week devoted to training.
